Sanam was born in born 24 May 1988 into a Muslim family in Karachi, Pakistan. She is currently living in Karachi. She can fluently speak in Urdu and English. She strat work as VJ on AAG TV and made her acting debut with Dil e Muztar.
She is now hosting Jago Pakistan Jago with Fahad Mustafa. She was also the host of the show Utho Jago Pakistan with Ahsan Khan for 21 days . She recently appeared in telefilm Dulhe Main Le Ke Jaungi. She is set to star in the much awaited drama written by Faiza Iftikhar.
