Arij Fatyma is an American-Pakistani television actress and influencer who works within the Urdu television industry. She maintains a presence as a model and brand ambassador while appearing in various drama serials.
Early life and education
Arij Fatyma was born Aribah Fatima Jafri on 7 November 1989 in North Carolina, U.S. Her parents are Syed Jafri and Mehreen Jafri Syed. She has two brothers, including physician Syed Qasim and entrepreneur Syed Qadir Jafri. The family relocated to Karachi in 2005.
Fatyma achieved academic success during her school years. She obtained second position in the Board of Secondary Education throughout Karachi when she completed her matriculation exams in 2005.
Career
Fatyma begins her professional journey as a commercial model. After working in advertisements for a few months, she receives a comic role in the 2012 Geo TV sitcom Kis Din Mera Viyah Howay Ga 2. This specific series serves as her breakthrough. She subsequently stars in leading roles across several successful television productions.
Her filmography includes melodramas such as Mar Jain Bhi To Kya (2012) and Paree (2013). She also appears in the romance Kissey Apna Kahein (2014) and the religious drama Aik Pal (2015). Fatyma portrays an obsessed lover in the 2013 romantic drama Aik Pagal Si Larki. She also plays a young faithful wife in the family drama Humnasheen (2013).

She is currently settled in Michigan, U.S. alongside her husband. The couple has two sons named Isa and Yahya. Fatyma frequently visits Pakistan for her acting shoots and continues to appear in projects after her marriage.
