Sarah Khan is a prominent Pakistani actress, model, and YouTuber known for her work in Urdu-language television series. Born on 14 July 1992, she has established herself as a versatile performer across various genres. She currently maintains a significant digital presence as one of the most followed Pakistani celebrities on Instagram.
Early life and education
Khan was born in Medina, Saudi Arabia. She is the daughter of a Pakistani Pashtun father from the Yusufzai tribe and a Lebanese mother. Her family includes two sisters and one brother—her sister Noor Zafar Khan is also an actress. Khan attended the University of Karachi for her education.
Career
She made her professional acting debut in 2012 with a supporting role in the drama Badi Aapa. In this series, she performed alongside Savera Nadeem and Nauman Ijaz. Later that same year, she appeared in the telenovela Mirat-ul-Uroos on Geo Entertainment. Following these early roles, she transitioned into lead performances, starting with Saltanat-e-Dil opposite Sami Khan.
The year 2015 served as a significant turning point for her career. She played a selfish opportunist in the romantic drama Alvida, which earned her a Hum Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. That same year, she portrayed a brave housewife in Mohabbat Aag Si and won a Hum Award for her performance. She continued her momentum in 2016 with the series Tum Meri Ho.
Khan took on diverse roles throughout the late 2010s. She played the character Tasha in Belapur Ki Dayan in 2018 and appeared as a struggling housewife in Mere Bewafa. Personal life
Khan married singer and lyricist Falak Shabir on 15 July 2020. The marriage took place shortly after their engagement. On 8 October 2021, the couple welcomed their daughter, Alyana Falak.
