Waseem Badami is a Pakistani television host and news anchor. He currently hosts the political talk show 11th Hour on ARY News. The journalist is known for his signature "Masoomana Sawal" segment.
Early life and education
Waseem Badami was born in Karachi, Pakistan, on February 7, 1985. He began his professional journey while he was still a university student. During this period, he provided traffic updates on the radio. This early experience helped him develop his communication skills.
Career
Badami entered the media industry as a researcher for the Business Plus channel. His hard work led to a significant career milestone in 2006. He was selected for ARY News from thousands of applicants. He initially worked as a news presenter for the channel's bulletins.
His role eventually transitioned into hosting various talk shows. In October 2014, he left ARY News to join BOL Network. He served there as an Executive Vice President and Senior Anchorperson. However, he resigned from BOL Network in April 2015 to rejoin ARY News.
He currently hosts the popular political program 11th Hour on ARY News. Badami also presents Shan-e-Ramazan on ARY Digital. During the Pakistan Super League, he hosts a cricket-related show titled Har Lamha Purjosh. His interview list includes various political and showbiz personalities such as Imran Khan, Zaid Hamid, Rana Sanaullah, Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi and Firdous Ashiq Awan.
Badami expanded his professional reach into the business sector in 2017. He partnered with Hemani Herbals to launch an organic skincare brand. This brand, named "WB" after his initials, launched in Dubai and Karachi. In 2022, he started a new digital venture called "Podcast with Waseem Badami" on YouTube.
