Rangeela was born Mohammad Saeed Khan in 1937, in Parachinar, Pakistan. Unlike other actors, Rangeela took keen interest in body- building and physical exercises as a teenager.
He moved to Lahore at a young age and earned his livelihood by painting bill- boards for the Lahore movie industry. In time due course, he realized that his talents would not sustain him in a humble professional career of a painter. Rangeela made his professional cinematic debut in a 1958 Punjabi film called ‘Jatti’, directed by M.J. Rana. His movie career started back in the late 1950s. Despite acting in the movies he also directed manyStars of them. He also sung many songs and wrote some scripts. The super hit film ‘Diya Aur Toofan’, May 9, 1969, was Rangeela’s directional debut. Additionally, he was also the producer- singer- writer- actor of the movie.He directed numerous movies under the banner of ‘Rangeela productions’.The superiority of its dramatic representation “Rangeela ‘film blow excellent, September 11, 1970, who played the title role of Rangeela. When Rangeela produced film Dia aur toofaan he sung a song Gaa mere manwa gata ja re, janaa hai hamka door. People of the film industry were taken aback to know Rangeela was producing a film. The film attracted a large number of movie goers. His song also became very popular. Later he sang more songs which also were liked by music lovers. One of his daughters is an elected councillor in Lahore and the other is an MBA, CPA (Certified Public Accountant) in the US.
