Early life and education
Nida Pasha was born in 1979. She is the daughter of television directors and producers Kazim Pasha and Fehmida Nasreen. Her family background provided an early connection to the world of broadcasting. Growing up in a household involved in production shaped her professional trajectory.
Career
Yasir began her professional journey as a model and a producer. She later transitioned into television hosting after Shaista Wahidi left ARY Digital for Geo TV. Since 2011, she has hosted the morning show Good Morning Pakistan on ARY Digital. Her acting career includes the role of Saima in the drama serial Hum Tum. She also appeared in the hit serial Nadaaniyan, which was a production of her own home team.
As a producer, she expanded her reach into the film industry. In 2015, she produced her first feature film, Wrong No., which was directed by her husband. She followed this with Mehrunisa V lub u in 2017 and Wrong No. 2 in 2019. Her production credits also include the series Baal Baal Bach Gaye.
Her career has faced several public controversies. In 2015, an incident occurred during a game show involving actor Shabbir Jan that caused him to storm out. Yasir claimed this event was staged to increase show ratings. In 2020, she faced criticism for asking insensitive questions to the parents of a rape victim. Personal life
Nida Yasir married actor, director, and producer Yasir Nawaz in 2002. They have three children together. Her sister, Sawera Pasha, is also a professional in the showbiz industry. She hosts various shows on different channels, including Geo Super.
Her extended family remains active in Pakistani media. Her brothers-in-law are Danish Nawaz and Faraz Nawaz, who serve as actors, directors, and producers. Her husband, Yasir Nawaz, is the son of the late television actor Fareed Nawaz. The family includes her children, a daughter named Sila and a son named Fareed.

The host has received multiple honors for her work in morning television. She won the Best Morning Show Host award at the Pakistan Media Award in 2012 for Good Morning Pakistan. Additionally, she earned the Best Morning Show Host title at the Pakistan Achievement Awards in 2019.
