Shakeel Yusuf Kamal TV Actor
Shakeel, born on 29 May 1938 at Bhopal, British India, is a Pakistani television actor. His real name is Yousuf Kamal. He is best acknowledged for his roles in Uncle Urfi and Mehboob Ahmed in Aangan Terha. Shakeel has also acted in many Pakistani films as well as an English film, Butterflies are Free. He is also recognized for his philanthropic activities. He and his family moved to Karachi, Pakistan in 1952. Shakeel completed his primary education from an English medium school in prepartition India and a French missionary school in India. He made his first appearance in the film, Honehar in 1966 then acted in many films such as Josh-e-intiqaam, Zindigi, Badal aur bijli, Butterflies are free (English) and Jinnah. His television plays and serials include: Honeymoon, Afshan, Aangan Terha, Jab Jab Dil Miley, Shehzori, Colony 52, Zer Zabar Pesh, Ankahi, Uroosa, Uncle Urfi, Tappish, Purchaiyan and many more. Shakil was also awarded the Pride of Performance in 1992 due to his entire services.
Background
Shakeel and his family migrated to Karachi, Pakistan in 1952.He received his primary education from an English medium school in prepartition India and a French missionary school in India.
