Nadia Hussain Khan is a prominent Pakistani television actress, host, supermodel, entrepreneur and fashion designer. Born on 11 January 1979, she holds a significant position in the local entertainment industry. She is widely recognized as one of Pakistan's first supermodels.
Early life and education
Nadia Hussain was born in the United Kingdom. She moved to Karachi, Pakistan, at the age of four. Her forefathers were noted contributors to the making of Pakistan. She is the niece of the renowned Pakistani singer Tina Sani.
Her early schooling took place at the Beaconhouse School System in Karachi. Following her primary education, she pursued higher studies in the medical field. She earned a graduation degree from Fatima Jinnah Dental College. Although she transitioned into showbiz, she remains a practicing dentist.
Career
Hussain entered the modeling industry in 2000. This occurred shortly after she completed her A-levels. At age 20, she appeared in a modeling shoot for the Winter Collection of Lakhani Silk Mills. She performed her first shoot for Herald magazine alongside designer Deepak Perwani and photographer Tapu Javeri.
Her modeling career reached international heights quickly. She was the only Pakistani model selected by Rizwan Beyg for the Sarajevo Fashion Week. This achievement helped establish her status as a supermodel within the region. She has also participated in numerous bridal shoots throughout her career.
As an actress, Hussain appears in various television dramas on multiple channels. Her notable television work includes roles in Ladies Park on Geo Entertainment and Manay Na Ye Dil on Hum TV. Hussain married investment banker Atif Khan in 2003. She was 24 years old at the time of her wedding. She is the mother of four children. Her children are reported to be named Sasha, Shanza, Sadal and another child.
