Biography:
she was born on 5th January, 1982 in Karachi and have two siblings, an older sister and a younger brother. She completed her B.A in English literature from Khatoon-e-Pakistan Government College and got her masters degree in English and Urdu literature from University of Karachi.
Personal Life/Family:
She got married to Mubasher Humayun in 2007 and have a beautiful daughter and a charming son, Jehan Aara Humayun and Mohammed Suleman Humayun.
In 2008, She took a short break from acting and worked as a Creative Manager in Spectrum DY & R for a few months.
Career:
After Saahil Ki Tamana, She worked in Wujud-e-Laraib, directed by Sakina Samo in the same year which was aired by Indus Vision. She has acted in a few telefilms like Darbar-e-Dil and Lekin Aik Bat Hai etc., as well. Her very first production was the telefilm, Kaun Qamar Aara, written by B Gul and directed by Sakina Samo. The production was very successful and received 5 nominations in HUM TV Telefim Awards, 2010, out of which it won awards for Best Director, Best Writer and Best Telefilm.
She personally like acting in telefilms because she feel more focused. She find serials a bit boring because it is a long-term commitment. That is the reason why she never work in soaps . Ironically, most of her favourite characters are those she played in serials. Umm-e-Maryam in Lahasil, Neelofar in Burns Road ki Neelofar and Gulnaz in Ama aur Gulnaz are roles that she enjoyed playing.
Sultana Siddiqui is one of her favourite personalities in showbiz since she is very dedicated to her work.
